What we collect

  • Email address for listings, requests and pickups, so we can send confirmation links, match alerts and pickup messages.
  • Pickup address for listings, and a location (ZIP, city or address) for requests. Public views show only an approximate point rounded to about half a mile. The exact pickup address is shown only to the buyer who holds that pickup.
  • Photos you upload. Your browser re-encodes them, which removes embedded location (EXIF) data before upload.
  • Listing details, holds, and your first name when you hold a pickup. The seller sees your name and email for a pickup you hold, and you see the seller's exact address.
  • Technical data: a salted, one-way hash of your IP address used for daily rate limits, plus standard server logs. We don't use advertising cookies or trackers. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking.
  • License keys are stored only as a one-way hash, along with the status Gumroad reports.

Service providers

  • Cloudflare (USA): hosting, database, photo storage, email delivery (Cloudflare Email Service) and AI photo suggestions (Workers AI). Cloudflare states it doesn't use customer inputs to train models.
  • Address lookup: our shared address service uses public address data, the U.S. Census geocoder, Esri and OpenStreetMap-based services. It's queried by our server with the address text you type.
  • Gumroad (USA): payments, if you buy a membership or pass. We receive your purchase email and license status.

Retention

Listings expire after 14 or 30 days. Photos of closed, expired or removed listings are deleted about 30 days later. Unconfirmed listings are deleted after 3 days. Requests expire after 30 days. Rate-limit counters are deleted after 3 days. Email us to delete your data sooner.

Your choices

Use your private link to remove a listing or stop a request at any time. To access, correct or delete your data, email ronald@aeonis.pro. We don't sell personal information.
