Is Offcut free?
Listing and saving requests are free. Pro and Hauler are optional memberships. Holding a pickup may use a $3 Pickup Pass once paid plans open; during early access, holds are free.
Does Aeonis take a cut of the price?
No. If a seller asks for money, the buyer pays the seller directly. Aeonis only charges for its own services.
Who is responsible for the materials?
The seller and the buyer. Aeonis isn't a party to the sale and doesn't inspect, store, transport or guarantee anything. Materials are taken as-is.
Is my address public?
No. Listings show an approximate point rounded to about half a mile. The exact address is shown only to the buyer holding a pickup.
How does the photo reading work?
Your phone shrinks the photo and removes its location data. A reduced copy is read by an AI image model running on Cloudflare to suggest the material and count. Suggestions can be wrong, so you always confirm the fields.
Why do I have to confirm by email?
It keeps fake listings and spam out. Your private link is also how you manage the listing, so you don't need a password.
What if the buyer doesn't show up?
On your manage page, release the hold and the listing goes live again. A hold whose window ended over 12 hours earlier without a code check is released automatically.
Where does Offcut work?
Anywhere in the United States. We're starting with outreach in South Florida.
Can I sell for a price?
Yes. You can set a price or leave it free. Sellers are responsible for any taxes on their own sales.
How do I cancel Pro?
Cancel in your Gumroad library. Access lasts until the end of the period you paid for.
